What Is PTA?
The Ruskin Elementary PTA is a dedicated group of parents, guardians, teachers, staff, extended family, and community members working together to enrich every student’s education and create an environment where they can thrive. As part of the North Valley Council in the Sixth District PTA under the California State PTA, we support teachers, organize educational events, and foster a strong, connected school community.
Joining the PTA doesn’t require volunteering or attending meetings, your membership helps us continue valuable programs and events that benefit all students.

Where do the PTA Funds Go?
Funds raised by the Ruskin PTA directly support students, teachers, and our school community.
- Teacher & Staff Grants: PTA provides flexible grants so educators can purchase materials or tools that enhance student learning. This ongoing support helps classrooms thrive.
- Educational Programs: We sponsor school-wide events like assemblies and enrichment programs that extend learning beyond the classroom.
- Community Events: From family nights to school celebrations, PTA events help foster a strong sense of connection and belonging for all Ruskin Roadrunners.

Teachers are the backbone of our schools and we need to celebrate them and support them. Assistance in the form of time, talent, funds, or goods helps to create a successful school experience.
